We currently serve around 200 families on a monthly basis and distribute food on the first Saturday of the month. These families look to our community for needed help, and we are honored to serve Christ in these our brothers and sisters. There are many volunteer positions in which we need help.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS
PREP ON THE THURSDAY/FRIDAY NIGHT BEFORE DISTRIBUTION:

People are needed to cut delivery bags, separate meat into plastic bags and prep delivery bags with canned and dried goods. 7-9pm

SATURDAY DISTRIBUTION:

The following Saturday positions begin around 10:30am and we finish around 1pm.

PARKING LOT:

Help to manage traffic and parking and let folks know what to do when they arrive.

NAME TAKERS:

These volunteers will have the most face-time with the client. They take their names & addresses and hand out the tickets, one per household. They may also be needed to set out and later put away a few chairs for clients to rest while waiting The ability to speak Spanish would be very helpful.

CROWD MONITOR:

This person would simply stand by the Sign-in Desk area to make sure that the flow of pantry recipients is smooth and civil.

MORNING PACKERS:

These volunteers put together any remaining bags not packed the previous Friday night

LIFTERS:

These people are responsible for putting the delivery bags in the cars as they pass through the drive up line.

GREEN PATROL:

These volunteers are responsible for breaking down cardboard boxes and bringing them to the recycling center.
